Research activities

The main focus of my research work is to develop a microscale platform, which will enable the study of the effects of different molecules during in vitro expansion and differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSC), under chemically-defined conditions. The high-throughput study of these effects will hopefully contribute towards a better understanding on the molecular interactions and mechanisms that govern hPSC fate and, eventually, to the development of effective cellular therapies.
