Francisca Mateus holds a Bachelor's in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Molecular Biomedicine from University of Aveiro. Currently pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering, her research focuses on unraveling the mechanisms behind X-Chromosome Inactivation (XCI) instability in hiPSCs. Her ultimate goal is to develop a reprogramming technique that enables the generation of high-quality iPSCs with stable XCI for broader applications in research and biomedical fields.
