Sofia P. Agostinho is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon). She holds a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same institute (2022). Her research work is being carried out at SCERG-iBB and IT-Lx (Instituto de Telecomunicações Lisboa). Her research focuses on developing computational tools and analysis methods that can help overcome obstacles in the field of stem cell production and characterization. Her work ranges from applying machine learning methods to study stem cell differentiation to forecasting bioreactor monitoring data.
