Possessing a background in the fields of biomaterials, nanotechnology and biomedical engineering, my current interests are related with the design of novel magnetic biomaterials to function as scaffolds for both stem cells and adult cells. In my PhD work, these interests are complemented with the design and fabrication of a biological inspired artificial microfluidic platform for drug screening.
