My current research is focused on establishment of integrated platform bridging developmental biology and bioengineering for unravelling of disease mechanisms and new therapeutic approaches for neurodevelopmental disorders. My main focus is to develop 3D regionalized brain organoid models derived from patient induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), including the use of CRISPR/Cas9 technology for generation of isogenic iPSC lines.
