Paola is currently a ‘la Caixa’ Junior Leader Fellow at the Instituto Superior Técnico with a project dedicated the development of novel wireless nanobioelectronic towards cancer therapeutics. Previously she has also worked on the development of conductive biomimetic scaffolds with bioinstructive properties using various additive manufacturing methods. Overall, she has interest in bioelectronic medicine and the advanced manufacturing of ‘smart’ materials for tissue engineering and modelling applications.
